In recent years, the Fall Festival for Friends has emerged as a new tradition at St. John’s and new fixture on the local calendar. It’s a wonderful time for the whole community to come together to enjoy the fall weather, listen to great music, eat great food, and just have fun. It’s also a great way to support some of those most in need—the cost of admission is the donation of new or nearly new winter coats for adults and children of all ages!
Previous festivals have featured the Julia Kasdorf Duo, the Dirty Grass Players, and Petty Coat Junction: Tom Petty Tribute Band.
Fifth Annual Fall Festival for Friends – October 18, 2025
The fifth annual Fall Festival for Friends—featuring Bluestone Jazz and Stringtown—will happen from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18. This family event features plenty of kids’ games and activities, pumpkin painting and carving, great food, drink, and fellowship. Tell your friends, and set aside no longer needed, gently used winter coats to benefit clients of Paul’s Place, The Samaritan Community and Center For Hope. You can also purchase new coats from Amazon, Walmart, Target, or the online retailer of your choice and have them shipped to the church!
