Beginning June 7th at 9am in the Library.
Each month we will cover a different general epistle, beginning with James on June 7th. James, the first of the general letters, is written by the brother of Jesus, a pillar of the church, (Paul says in Galatians 2:9), and leader of the Jerusalem Council. Notably, James builds on the spirit of the Sermon on the Mount: faith is, not simply strong belief, but is action oriented, “what good is it to have faith without deeds?” (James. 2:14). Incredible lessons for body and soul.
Coming up in July & August: 1 Peter & 1 John
