The General Epistles to the fledgling 1st century churches and to us today

Our Epistle of the month is 1 Peter. 1 Peter is rich with inspiration for growing in faith and our “new inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade,” (1 Peter 1:4) purchased through the blood of Jesus. “A chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,” (I Peter 2:9), Peter reinforces that God’s work in Christ’s death and resurrection is a light to all the nations of the world, despite any persecution and hardship that come our way.
